Mobile Bicycle Technician

Location: Tampa Bay, FL

Job Type:  Full Time / Part Time

Pay:  Starting at $20-$22 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Bicycle Technician to provide high-quality repair and maintenance services to customers in the Tampa Bay area. As a Mobile Bicycle Technician, you will travel to various locations to assist customers with their bicycle needs, ensuring a convenient, efficient, and friendly service experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform bicycle repairs and maintenance on-site, including tune-ups, flat repair, wheel truing, brake adjustments, and chain replacements.

  • Diagnose issues and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades based on customer needs.

  • Maintain a well-stocked mobile repair vehicle with tools and parts for efficient service provision.

  • Build and assemble new bicycles as required.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with clients.

  • Educate customers on bicycle maintenance best practices and safety.

  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of parts as needed.

  • Keep records of services performed and communicate effectively with management.

  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace within the mobile unit.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a bicycle mechanic or technician is preferred.
    (WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE!)

  • Strong mechanical skills and a passion for cycling.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

  • Must pass a background check.

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
